Story

His Journey

April 6th, 1959

Our Dad, with whom you may know as Bill or perhaps William D. Sullivan, recently passed on 06/30/2023. Bill was a memorable father and friend who touched the lives of those around him with his infectious enthusiasm and charm. He leaves behind a brother, a sister, two daughters, a son plus numerous extended family members and friends from all walks of his life.

Dad dedicated his life to being in the moment, for better or for worse… He cared deeply about everyone because a stranger was only a friend you had not met yet. Damn that sounds cliché, but that was him: corny, cliché, and amazing. He did his best to be a better man each day than he was the previous day. While not always succeeding, he never gave up. He taught us how important it was to be a positive influence in the world around us as we never knew what others were going through. To quote him, "the world needs ditch diggers as much as rocket scientists, be kind to everyone."

Bill was born on April 6th, 1959 in New York. He grew up with his parents, Vincent and Francine, and siblings, Don, Gary, and Janine. He attended local schools, traveled with his family, and went on to become a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

Bill met and married Daralyn A. Ogden, and raised three children, Donna, Daniel, and Dorothy. They lived in Spring Hill, Florida.
